Meet Rio
We were blessed to love her for 15 beautiful years. Her life was full of love, cuddles and adventures, but it could have been very different. Born in a cactus bush on the streets of Sal, Cape Verde (an island off west Africa) her life turned around at 6 weeks when we took her home and loved her for her whole life. Sadly, she passed peacefully this year. She was one of the lucky ones. In memory of Rio and for the beautiful natured soft and kind-hearted Cape Verdean dogs, we want to help support the street dogs who haven’t had this opportunity to know love and constant food and safety.
Like us Saving the Beautiful dogs and Cats of Cape Verde is in its infancy and needs regular support to continue. They feed and treat street dogs and try to find homes for them preferably in Europe but wherever someone opens their arms. They do an amazing job and have already helped turn the lives around for many dogs. Now living the high life, loved, pampered and adored just as they deserve. To support them we have chosen to donate 100% of profits from all sales of our Be Loyal Anklet. We hope as our business grows, we can help to enable them to provide the much needed care for these beautiful animals.
